Alumni XO is an alternative rap artist from Cincinnati, Ohio blending dark grunge hip-hop, lo-fi, and trap with emotionally raw, unfiltered lyricism. His music cuts through grief, trauma, depression, survival, and the ugly parts of healing — no filters, no pretending it’s okay.

After losing his mother to cancer at 19 and watching close friends die, music stopped being a hobby and turned into survival. He’s also been through mental health institutions, experiences that left permanent marks on his mindset and the way he writes — honest, fractured, and heavy with lived reality. Instead of hiding it, he puts it straight into the music.

He started out at 13 making bass-boosted edits and by 17 was producing beats, slowly building a sound shaped by distortion, emotion, and isolation. His tracks move between self-destruction and clarity, anger and reflection, pain and the smallest pieces of hope that still manage to survive it.

The name Alumni XO represents the aftermath: a graduate of self-destruction, depression, and loss — still standing, still creating, choosing love (XO) over self-hatred, even when it doesn’t feel easy.
